And to the kid who managed to crowd surf OVER the big rack of vinyl in the middle of the store, you’re awesome. That was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.

I just have to say that it’s shows like this that completely reaffirm my decision to want to tour and help bands who are completely dedicated to and passionate about what they’re doing, whether they’re playing to 10 people or a couple hundred people. I know I made the right choice in making music my career. 

Oh, and Transit, Such Gold, and I Am the Avalanche killed it, and so did all the rest of the bands that played. I can’t wait for tomorrow! 

Over the course of tomorrow and Sunday, I get to see Transit, Such Gold, I Am the Avalanche, Daytrader, my good friends in Mixtapes and a bunch of other great bands. I’m so excited for my first Long Island Fest!

So here’s my advice: hold on to whatever keeps you warm inside.
