This Party Sucks
Does anyone

book shows or know someone who books shows in Boston, Philly, Long Island (or NYC area), or Baltimore? If so, send me a message, I could use some help!

Need new music?

Go to the link below to download the Neck Deep Media/TTLR summer compilation for free! It has a new Atlas on Strike song as well as many other great bands.

Thank you.

Over the past couple of days I’ve had more than one person tell me that I’m going to have a really hard time finding a band that’ll take me on the road with them simply because of the fact that I’m a woman and too many people (specifically wives/girlfriends) will be worried that I’m just going to be sleeping with them the whole time.

I think that’s complete bullshit (pardon my french). Just because I’m a girl, doesn’t mean I go around having sex with everyone. Heck, if we’re being honest here, I’ve never even had sex before, which is something that I’m proud of. I don’t drink or do drugs either, so I’m not going to be getting trashed and throwing myself all over them.

I take my work seriously. Music is my passion, and touring is what I want to do while I’m still young. Give me a chance and I guarantee I’ll prove to you that I can work just as hard as a man can. Being told that I’m going to have a hard time making a career out of what I love to do, just makes me want it even more. So thank you for giving me the drive I need to make this a reality.

I’ve been completely stressing out the past couple days because the whole being graduated from college, needing to find work thing finally hit me. And it hit me hard.

My internship at Roadrunner Records ends in a couple of weeks and I don’t know what I’m going to do afterwards. Originally I was supposed to have a job on Warped Tour for the rest of the summer, but the company ended up not getting their sponsorships in time, so they won’t be on the tour this year.

Now I’m not sure what to do. My stay with the family I’m with right now will quickly be coming to an end and I won’t be able to afford to stay in New York until I find work. I want to get out on the road, so if anyone knows of any bands who need someone to sell merch for them the rest of the summer/fall please let me know. I have experience.

My other options are to apply for an office job at a record label out here (which would be great, but I don’t want to work in an office) or head back to Wisconsin until I can find a band to go out with.

I know something great will come along when the time is right, but it’s hard to be patient and stay positive.
